Department: Academic Transfer and General Education

We offer both English composition and literature courses as part of our English program. The English composition courses will provide you with the ability to use written expression that will help you in your career and personal life. Our literature courses will give you the opportunity to explore the rich literary heritage of various genres and cultures. Our English courses are offered as part of the Academic Transfer program in order to provide you with the foundation you need to complete a bachelor’s degree in English or other communication-related areas. You’ll gain the communication skills needed for success in any career field. Our English courses also meet general education course requirements for academic transfer students.

    Non-residents - $8,640

    These costs are for tuition and fees only for the program of study as listed in the CCC online catalog. It does not include the cost of foundations courses, retaking courses or taking courses in addition to those required for the degree. It does not include the cost of books, supplies, tools, computers or other items that may be required.

    The length of time to complete a program is based on a student taking only the courses required for the program as listed in our online catalog. It does not include the cost of foundations courses that may be required based on ACCUPLACER, COMPASS, ASSET or ACT scores, retaking courses or taking courses that are not required by your program of study.
