Registration for Placement Services.  Easy registration for services is available as well as convenient on-campus registration with the Nebraska Workforce Development is also available.

Job Listings.  Many employers list job openings each week. Full-time, part-time, temporary and volunteer positions are listed on the job board located on each campus. For application information on the jobs, take the job number to the Placement Office on your campus or call with the job number to get more information.

Job Posting Locations

Hastings Campus  Entrance to Student Success Center and strategic locations (Campus Center, Dormitories, Cafeteria)

Grand Island Campus Across the hall from the Placement Office, Room 442

Columbus Campus West Education Building-Career Services Office (next to book store) and strategic locations (East Education Building, Dormitories)

All Campuses: Jobs for specific programs areas are also posted in appropriate labs on all three campuses.

Job Search Assistance. Assistance with resume preparation and critiquing, cover letter writing, interviewing techniques and  job search guidance is available.

Credential File Service. Graduates (diploma and degree) are encouraged to establish a credential file during the last semester before graduation. The file is a summary of academic preparation and work experience that is sent to prospective employers at the student's request. Students have the opportunity to review the contents of the file.

On-Campus Recruitment and Interviews. Employers may come to the campus to recruit students for positions.  On-campus interviews may be scheduled for the convenience of employers and students.

While the Placement services assist students in the job search, it is ultimately the students' responsibility to find and secure employment.

Placement services are available to current students and alumni at no charge.
