Video Production
There's basically two ways to study video production:
1) "Studio" production, which includes studio camera work, audio/video switching, and directing.
2) "Field" production, which includes shooting on location, writing scripts, and editing.
Our program emphasizes "field" production. We work on the basics of picture composition, editing, graphic design, and production.

Here's what you need:

  • A creative eye for photography
  • The ability to visualize the finished production
  • An efffective broadcast writing style
  • Knowledge of analog and digital editing systems
  • Production experience
  • The ability to make effective use of audio
  • Creative editing skills
  • Effective graphic design skills
