What To Look For
The watermelon should have a sweet scent and there should be a slight pressure at the stem. The skin should be a solid green with green strips. The inside of the watermelon should be fresh and extremely juicy with small hard black and white seeds. Avoid soft melons.
Easy Storage
Store at room temperature for two to three days. After cutting it refrigerate it. Make sure you remove all seeds before eating.
Best Uses
Either temperature is great for eating it. Good for breakfast, snack, fruit salads, and smoothies. |
