The stems of cherries should be flexible and green. If there is soft spots, mold, bruises, and splits make sure you avoid. The color of a cherry should be a deep red.
Easy Storage
They will keep at room temperature for a few days but they will last longer in the refrigerator. Before eating make sure you remove the stem and pits.
