Drastic color adjustments such as these can be made to give a photograph a desired feeling or effect.
	This photo is an example of taking a color picture and seeing how it will look in sepia.
	Here is an example of simply turning a color picture to black and white in photoshop.
	In these photos a black and white mask was placed over a color layer. Certain parts of the image were selected to show through in color to make it stand out from the background.
	This photo was touched up in Photoshop with the clone stamp and healing brush. Some parts where also brightened or darkened to add to the overall contrast of the photo.
	Level adjustments as well as the dodge and burn tools where used on this photo to brighten darker parts of the image, and darken overexposed places. The sharp edge of the shadow was also removed.
	A layer mask was used in this photo to darken the edges of the picture and create a transparent frame around the subject.
	In this photo a black and white layer was placed over a color layer and then peices of the black and white layer where erased to create a more artistic picture.
