Central Community College is a great place to start if you plan to earn a bachelor's degree. The Academic Transfer program is provided for students who want to complete their first two years of college with CCC before transferring to a four-year college or university. It's a great fit if you prefer smaller classes and more attention from your instructors while keeping your tuition costs manageable.

Advanced Manufacturing and Design Technology
The career outlook is excellent for those with skills in CNC machining, tool and die making and other machining industry skills covered in the Advanced Manufacturing and Design Technology program.
Our Agricultural Sciences program is a great way to prepare for a wide range of agriculture-related careers, both on and off the farm.
Anthropology is the study of human beings and their societies from their beginnings millions of years ago to the present day. It seeks to understand the geographic space and evolutionary time of human existence. CCC offers an Introduction to Anthropology course as part of its academic transfer program.
Our Art and Design program offers a broad curriculum that provides the first two years of study for art majors who plan to transfer to four-year colleges and universities. It also serves the general education and personal interest needs of students in other areas.
Our Auto Body Technology program covers all aspects of auto body repair including sheet metal repair, frame straightening, glass installation, welding and more.
Our Automotive Technology program covers all systems in modern automobiles and includes a partnership option with Ford Motor Company.
Biological Science courses are offered for students who intend to transfer to four-year colleges and universities to complete a bachelor’s degree in a variety of fields.

Business Administration classes are offered at our Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings campuses and online. The Grand Island and Hastings campuses have a program offered entirely at night.

The Business Technology program provides the skills and knowledge necessary to prepare students for careers as administrative support professionals in today's modern office workplace.
Chemistry courses are provided as part of the Academic Transfer program for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a bachelor's degree in a related area or pre-professional program such as pre-medicine or pre-pharmacy.
Our Construction Technology program provides a great opportunity to prepare for a career in the construction industry. Students learn a full-range of construction skills from framing to cabinet construction and get plenty of practice applying those skills by working on a house built each year on the Hastings Campus.
Our Criminal Justice program prepares graduates for careers in law enforcement, corrections and more.
Students get hands-on experience in food preparation and service through assignments in the operation of the on-campus Woodlands Dining Room.
Prepare for a career as a dental assistant by gaining the knowledge and skills provided by our Dental Assisting program.
Dental Hygiene is one of the nation’s fastest growing occupations, according to the U. S. Department of Labor, which projects a 33 percent increase in employment over a 10-year period ending in 2022 We offer Nebraska's only two-year Dental Hygiene program.
The Diesel Technology program on our Hastings Campus features a new, modern, well-equipped diesel education facility. Industry leaders like NMC and Titan Machinery recognize the quality of our program with student sponsorships that provide tuition, fees, books and tools as well as internships.
Drafting and Design Technology
Our Drafting and Design Technology program provides a solid foundation in drafting with options to specialize in architectural, manufacturing or structural detailing.
Early Childhood Education
Through our Early Childhood Education program, students develop and refine their teaching skills and techniques through practicum experience, working under the supervision of a teacher in a child care facility or early childhood program. You can start a career in two years or less or transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a teaching degree.
Economists study the production, distribution, and consumption of wealth and related problems. They generally work in business and industry, in education, or for government agencies.
Economics courses are offered for students planning to major in this field or related areas meets general education requirements for students planning to complete bachelor's degrees in other fields.
Complete the first two years of a bachelor's degree through our Academic Transfer program. Our program provides all of the classes you need during the first two years in a teach education program as well supervised experience working with students through our Pre-Student Teach courses.
Prepare for a career as a construction electrician, industrial electrician, electric motor service person or equipment sales person.
Complete the first two years of a bachelor's degree in engineering and then transfer to a four-year college or university to complete your bachelors degree. We have specific agreements with the University of Nebraska Lincoln College of Engineering that provide a smooth transition from our program into five engineering disciplines.
English courses are offered as part of the academic transfer program for English majors and meet general education course requirements for other students.
Environmental Health & Safety
Environmental Health and Safety Employment opportunities exist within manufacturing, medical facilities, educational institutions, and government. Graduates from this program take entry level positions as technicians that may lead to positions as environmental health & safety directors, occupational health specialist, industrial hygiene consultants, environmental engineering technicians or government regulatory agents.
Geography courses are offered as part of our Academic Transfer program and meet course requirements in other programs as well.
Health Information Management Services
You can be a part of a health care team without having direct patient contact. Health information technicians are skilled in analyzing patient records, reporting patient data for reimbursement and creating disease registries for researchers.
Heating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

Heavy Equipment Operator Technician

Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts
Students can specialize in culinary arts or hospitality management while earning their degree. Students also have the opportunity to learn about hotel management, pastry and baking, restaurant management and tourism and event planning.
Graduates are ready to enter a fast-growing profession helping people in a variety of settings. Paraeducator, chemical dependency community health and psychiatric technicians options are included.

Our Information Technology & Systems program provides a comprehensive education in the skills, techniques and methodologies of information technology and systems. Students can specialize in one of the following areas: Developer, Networking, and Technical Support.
Library and Information Services
Complete requirements for certification as a Nebraska public librarian or complete two years of study before transferring to the University of Nebraska at Omaha to complete bachelor’s degrees in related areas.
Our logistics certificate
prepares students for employment in the fields of transportation or materials
management. Students will gain basic skills in logistics, supply chain
management, and purchasing logistics. Courses in this area can be used as
electives as part of an associate of applied science degree in business
administration or accounting.
