Central Community College is a great place to start if you plan to earn a bachelor's degree. The Academic Transfer programs is provided for students who want to complete their first two years of college with Central Community College before transferring to a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor's degree. Anthropology is the study of human beings and their societies from their beginnings millions of years ago to the present day. It seeks to understand the geographic space and evolutionary time of human existence. Anthropology may be of interest to students who plan to complete a bachelor’s degree in the social sciences. The Construction Technology program at Central Community College-Hastings provides a great opportunity to prepare for a career in the construction industry. Students learn a full-range of construction skills from framing to cabinet construction and get plenty of practice applying those skills by working on a house built each year on the Hastings Campus.
