2011-12 Softball Recruits/Signings

Coach Jack Gutierrez has announced the signing of some very talented softball recruits for the 2012-13 season. 

The following are 2012 high grads:

Kaitlin Behnk, Pitcher from St. Paul High School.  Very athletic and can play other positions.  A seasoned pitcher coming from a very good program.
Caitlin Fehringer, outfielder from Wayne High School.  A decorated player that will play in the coaches all star game this summer in Lincoln.  A second team all Class All stater coming from an excellent program.

Kristin Wilcox, utility player from Wayne High School.  A 2nd baseman with some pop in her bat.  Well schooled in softball from tradition rich Wayne HS.
Desi Pinkerman, 3rd baseman from O'Neill High School.  Desi has speed and is a true infielder that knows the game.  Also from a very good high school and summer program.

Gina Nelson, pitcher from Boone Central High School. ( Albion ) Gina is a fierce competitor on the mound.  She has the tools to improve at the college level and will bring enthusiasm and a great work ethic to the team.
Maria Glidden, a catcher/1st baseman from Boone Central High School.  Maria has a big bat and a great arm to go with her positive approach to the game.  She may see some work at first base.

Shelby Lienemann, shortstop from Winside high School.  Shelby has a great arm and bat to compliment a stout defense for the Raiders.  She knows the game and will be a plus on the infield.

Celeste Palensky, pitcher from Schuyler High School.  Celeste is a hard worker on the mound and is ready to step in and make some noise for the Raiders.  She can also play other positions and her left hand will add another dimension to the team.

Samantha Gramke, catcher from Tekamah-Herman High School.  Samantha comes to Central from a very good high school program.  She has speed and a big bat for a small girl.  She can play 3rd also and is a tough competitor.

Paige Paczosa, pitcher/hitter from Twin River High School.  Another excellent program.  Paige is a diamond in the rough on the mound and at the plate.  She also has the potential to play some first base and hit.

Cera Woita, outfielder/hitter from Wahoo Neumann high school.  A good hitter and excellent outfielder.  Cera brings a toughness to our outfield along with a big bat.

Ashley Kush, catcher from Twin River high school.  A fierce competitor and strong catcher from a good program.  Ashley knows the game and will compliment our other catchers.  A good hitter also.
