Coach Jack Johnson

Coach Jack Johnson has over 55 years of experience in the game of basketball. Coach Johnson played basketball at both the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as well as Peru State where Johnson graduated in 1961. While teaching and coaching at Pawnee City High School Johnson led his team to two state championships. Later Coach Johnson took a coaching and teaching postion at Columbus High School. In 1972 Johnson led Columbus High School to the class A state championship. That year he was named Nebraska high school coach of the year by the Lincoln Journal Star.

 

In 1989 Coach Johnson started “individual basketball training” and has continued to teach numerous athletes across the state. In 1998, 1999, and 2000 Coach Johnson tutored six different colleges in the state of Nebraska including University of Nebraska-Lincoln, University of Nebraska-Omaha, and Creighton University.
