Welcome to Central Community College’s International Admissions Webpage.
Central Community College is located towards the center of the state of Nebraska in the middle of the United States. Serving 25 counties in rural Nebraska, our enrollment for the 2011-2012 school year was over 25,000 students. Students came from 91 counties in Nebraska, 37 other states and 24 other countries. To be considered for admission to Central Community College, the following is required: All overseas correspondence should be sent by air mail. All materials become the property of the college and cannot be returned. The college will not honor requests for waiver of admission requirements. 2. International Student Supplementary Application and Financial Matters for International Students - see link below. Include all certifications, names, and amounts as indicated on the application, including sponsors and bank officials. 3. English Proficiency (TOEFL paper/pencil test-500 minimum score or computer-based version-173 minimum score. Please submit original document.) Internet-based test - 61 minimum score. 4. Official transcripts from all previous educational institutions attended. 5. Transcripts must be translated into the English language. 6. Transfer students must have above average to high quality academic records to be admitted. International students should apply for admission 9 to 12 months before they plan to enter the college. Issuance of the Certificate of Eligibility, Form I-20, will be made only upon completion of all admission requirements through the Student Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) mandated by the federal government under the Patriot Act. It is the responsibility of the applicant to make all necessary arrangements through official channels for entrance into the United States. Students issued an I-20 must report to Central Community College 15 days upon arrival into the United States.
