Welding Technology
giwelding

Welders with solid technical skills are in demand in a wide variety of businesses and industries. The U.S. Department of Labor lists more than 140 occupations in welding or which use welding.

Welders with a two-year associate of applied science degree will find work most easily, but specialized training in specific welding skills through shorter diploma and certificate programs also prepares people for entry-level jobs. CCC offers a Welding Technology program at its Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings campuses. Program options are:

  • Welding Technology Associate of Applied Science Degree
  • Welding Technology Diploma
  • Advanced Welding Techniques Certificate
  • Manual Welding Certificate
  • Production Welding Certificate
