Reverse Transfer

It’s not too late to claim your degree at CCC!

If you took classes through our academic transfer program but moved on to a four-year college before earning a degree, there's a good chance that you are eligible to receive an associate degree from us by transferring credits back to CCC. Here is all it takes:

  • You must have completed a minimum of 15 credits through CCC's academic transfer classes.
  • You must have completed a total of 60 credits or more through a combination of CCC credits and credits earned at other colleges.

That's right. You can transfer credits from a four-year college back to Central Community College and qualify for an associate of arts or associate of sciece degree.

How does receiving your associate degree expand your opportunities?

  • An associate degree is the nation’s fastest growing work credential. Employers recognize its value when recruiting and hiring.
  • Your associate degree is an important milestone in your education and a significant accomplishment!
  • Receiving your associate degree prior to your bachelor’s degree gives you a marketable and competitive credential on your resume.
  • Completing your degree provides better job opportunities and higher earning potential, even while finishing your bachelor degree.
