This is one of the nation's fastest growing professions, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, which projects a 44 percent increase in employment over a 10 year period.
Central Nebraska residents can remain in their hometown while completing the first semester of study
Through a partnership between Northeast Community College (NECC) in Norfolk and Central Community College (CCC), students in Northeast’s Physical Therapy Assistant program can complete general education courses during the summer and fall semester of their freshman year at a CCC campus or center.
The remaining courses will be taken during the spring semester of the freshman year and entire sophomore year at Northeast Community College.
Students must apply for acceptance into the program to NECC, which grants the degree.
