The Art program provides the foundation students need to complete bachelor of fine arts degrees in art as well as providing general education courses for students majoring in other fields.
In addition to art fundamentals, color theory and the visual arts and visual design, students can develop their skills in a variety of media including printmaking, oil and acrylic, painting, watercolor, painting, ceramics and pottery and photography.
Students display their work annually during the Spring Fine Arts Festival and are encouraged to enter competitions throughout the year. They also have the opportunity to provide illustrations for the Hilltop Review, a campus literary magazine published in conjunction with the Fine Arts Festival.
