| High School Articulation courses offered at high schools in the CCC service area give students the opportunity to earn free college credit before graduating from high school. Students can get a head start on college and save time and money by eliminating the need to repeat skills at CCC that were already mastered in high school. |
|
High School Articulation Advantages
- Motivates high school graduates to continue their education in technical career fields.
-
When enrolling at CCC, students can avoid repeating introductory classes and enroll in advanced technical courses.
- Encourages students who have enrolled in college technical programs to go on and receive a bachelors' degree or other higher-education.
-
Develops closer relationships and better understanding among high school and college faculty and administrators so they can work together to provide a smooth transition from high school to Central Community College.
-
Helps business and industry by increasing potential employees who are highly qualified in a variety of career and technical fields.
