The rewards of being your own boss are great, but so are the challenges. If you want to own your own business, Central Community College offers entrepreneurship education to help you develop the skills needed to get started. You can learn about opportunity analysis, marketing, finance, taxes, legal issues, and even develop a business plan.
The Entrepreneurship Center at Central Community College offers workshops, seminars and other events to educate and promote business ownership in the communities that it serves.

An 18-semester-hour entrepreneurship certificate is included in the CCC business administration. You can complete the certificate as an area of specialization within the business administration program or as a stand-alone certificate to develop entrepreneurial skills and develop a business plan.

Each course is offered for three semester-hours of credit.
A nine-semester-hour endorsement also is offered to provide basic entrepreneurship skills. Students in any CCC program who want to open their own business in the future can complete the certificate as part of their associate of applied science degree or diploma. Entrepreneurs can complete the three courses as a stand-alone certificate.
