The Holdrege Center opened

in 1995 to serve Phelps, Harlan,

Franklin and Kearney counties.

The center is located at 1308 Second Street on the northeast side of the Phelps County Ag Center at the Phelps County Fairgrounds.

Facilities available at the Holdrege Center include:

• Three classrooms
• Three conference rooms for meetings and workshops
• A nine-station computer lab
• A satellite downlink
• Video conferencing

Educational opportunities available through the center include: 

• Distance learning college credit classes
• Individualized college credit classes through learning centers
• Avocational-recreational classes through the Community Education program
• Adult Education
• GED high school equivalency diploma classes and testing
• English as a Second Language classes
• Certificate, diploma, and degree programs
• Business and professional training.
