To stay in good financial aid standing with the college, a student must meet the following standards:
Credits Earned - Students must successfully pass 75% (rounded to the nearest whole number) of the official credits for which they register each semester. However; students with 16 credits or more must successfully pass a minimum of 12 credits each semester. The number of credits you are registered for on the 10th class day of the semester is your official registration and payment status for that term.
Grade Point Average - Students must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.0.

Failure to meet these financial aid standards of progress shall result in the student being placed on financial aid suspension. A student on suspension will not receive any additional Title IV financial aid (grants, loans, or work-study) until he/she once again becomes eligible.
The Financial Aid Director on each campus may make exceptions to the above standards on a case-by-case basis by exercising professional judgment. Students must contact the financial aid office during the semester to be considered for an exception to suspension.
