"HIGH SCHOOL ARTICULATION" (formerly known as Tech Prep)
Offers students the opportunity to earnFREE collegecredit while still in high school.
Students who take high school classes, which have been articulated with CCC, can earn free college credit for those classes while still in high school.
The "High School Articulation Program" helps students get a head start on college and saves them time and money.
High School Articulation Advantages:
Motivates high school graduates to continue their education in vocational and technical career fields. Students who receive college credit for articulated classes while in high school won't have to repeat those classes at CCC. They can enroll in advanced courses right away. Students can receive their degree in two years or less, enabling them to join the workforce and start earning a higher wage in a shorter amount of time. Encourages students, who were enrolled in CCC's programs, to go on and receive a bachelors' degree or other higher education through our transfer program. High school staff and college faculty work together to provide a smooth transition for students graduating from high school and entering college. College students have a greater chance of getting hired at a place of employment because employers want to hire qualified and trained employees for their businesses.
