Starting and Developing Your Small Business

Learn about general information of what an entrepreneur is all about. Clarify your business concept-mission statement-create your company identity. Learn about researching your market, check out your competition, and establish your networks. Deal with legal issues and build your team. Develop a marketing plan to include mass media, web-site, and social media. Learn about money matters and financing. Throughout the workshop you will be building your Business Plan.

QuickBooks® Training Series

v    Informational QuickBooks

Always wondered What QuickBooks was all about? This will be a two hour workshop to learn what QuickBooks can do for you and how QuickBooks basically works. This will not be hands on workshop. The workshop is to inform you about the capabilities and basic components of the QuickBooks software. Come and learn how QuickBooks can help you become more knowledgeable in keeping your bookkeeping records on the computer. (Version 2013)

Have never used a computerized accounting system before? It is time to computerize you bookkeeping records, learn how to set up your accounting system, work with your bank account, set up Chart of Accounts, learn how to use the Various Centers of QuickBooks and create reports. You will go through the accounting processes to see how that process works. But you will not enter the information. Each person will work at a computer. Requirement: Must attend all 4 sessions and have basic computer skills and knowledge. (Version 2013)

Computer Solutions for Small Business Owners. This is a hands-on workshop where participants will learn how to work with bank accounts, financial data, taxes, payroll among other aspects of the software. Participants should be experienced with computers, have an understanding of accounting and/or currently using or have explored the software or have taken the Basic QuickBooks Workshop. You will be entering the information as if the accounting books/records are actually alive and active. Workshop is limited to 8 participants. Requirement: Must attend all 4 sessions and have basic computer skills and knowledge. (Version 2013)
