Go to FAFSA on the Web to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Web worksheets can be found online, from the the Financial Aid Office or high school counselors. Contact the Department of Education at 1-800-4-FED-AID if you experience difficulties with this process.

The result of the FAFSA is used to determine the type and amount of your financial aid eligibility. Most financial aid is awarded on the basis of financial need. You will receive your Student Aid Report (SAR) from the Department of Education within one week after submitting the application.

You will receive further information from the financial aid office one to three weeks after you apply.

The FAFSA is not a student loan application. If you are interested in applying for loan funds, you must also complete the Stafford Loan Application and Entrance Loan Counseling.
