Kyle Brozek

Technology was what impressed Kyle Brozek most when he toured Central Community College-Hastings as a high school senior.

He already researched several colleges and knew that the Hastings Campus had a number of programs that interested him.

Lindsey Crook

Small classes and the opportunity to play college volleyball were two of the main reasons physical therapist Lindsey Crook decided to attend Central Community College-Columbus.

“Coming from a small school, I wanted to know that I would have a smaller classroom and that teachers would be able to help me rather than being just a number and maybe getting lost in the system at a bigger school,” Crook said.

J.J. Hoins

A fourth-grade teacher helped J.J. Hoins set her sights on becoming a teacher herself, and Central Community College helped take the first steps in reaching her goal.

She was torn between becoming a speech pathologist or a special education teacher and thought CCC would give her the opportunity to decide which path to choose, as well as the opportunity to play college volleyball and softball.

Rob Jonek

Keeping current with technology is critical in the electronics field. Rob Jonek picked Central Community College-

Grand Island to building on his electronics degree and his interest in networking.

Taking courses in biomedical electronics communications and analog and electronic devices courses opened lots of opportunity for him, Jonek said.
