    The Career and Employment Services (C&ES) offices located on Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings Campuses provide job seeker services to students, alumni and employers.

    Job Listings

    Many employers list job openings each week. Full-time, part-time, temporary and volunteer positions are listed on the job board located on each campus. For application information on the jobs, take the job number to the Career and Employment Services Office on your campus or call with the job number to get more information.

    Online Listings

    Our online employment site is a great place for employers to list job opening. Employer services are available to employers who register through this site. All memberships are subject to the approval of the C&ES Committee. Current students and alumni have access to the site to view job openings.

    On Campus Listings

    Jobs are posted at these campus locations:

    Columbus Campus

    West Education Building-Career Services Office (next to book store) and strategic locations (East Education Building, Dormitories).

    Grand Island Campus
    Across the hall from the Career and Employment Services Office, Room 442.

    Hastings Campus
    Entrance to Student Success Center and strategic locations (Campus Center, Dormitories, Cafeteria).

    All Campuses
    Jobs for specific programs areas are also posted in appropriate labs on all three campuses.

    Other services include:

    • Job Search Assistance. Assistance with resume preparation and critiquing, cover letter writing, interviewing techniques and job search guidance is available.
    • Credential File Service. Graduates (diploma and degree) are encouraged to establish a credential file during the last semester before graduation. The file is a summary of academic preparation and work experience that is sent to prospective employers at the student's request. Students have the opportunity to review the contents of the file.
    • On-Campus Recruitment and Interviews. Employers may come to the campus to recruit students for positions. On-campus interviews may be scheduled for the convenience of employers and students.


    Career Coach

    How much can you earn with a degree from Central Community College? Career Coach answers your questions about opportunities in hundreds of career areas. Included is information about pay, qualifications, projected number of job openings in central Nebraska, a list of current job openings and a link to Central Community College programs that prepare you for the career field. Career Coach is a dynamic information source, providing real-time information about careers.

    Career Coach uses a simple keyword search, making it easy to find the career information you want. You also can search for careers based on the CCC program that interests you. In addition, Career Coach includes a built-in resume builder to help students and jobs seekers quickly and efficiently put together an updated resume with key skills and job experience highlighted.
