    Today’s business professional serves as an information clearinghouse; manages projects, meetings and schedules; organizes and maintains paper and electronic records; and produces a wide array of written and oral communications.

    Technology skills are essential in this career, including the utilization of software such as: word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, desktop publishing, project management, webpage support, and graphics programs.

    The associate of applied science degree in Business Technology provides a comprehensive education in the skills, techniques and principles of business technology. Graduates of this program are prepared for jobs in office occupations.

    In addition to our Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings campuses, The Business Technology degree, diploma and certificate are available entirely online. The Grand Island and Hastings campuses have an accelerated program offered entirely at night.

    • At 2017-18 tuition and fee rates, completing the 63 credits required for the Business Technology degree costs:

      Nebraska residents - $6,300
      Non-residents - $9,072

      These costs are for tuition and fees only for the program of study as listed in the CCC online catalog. It does not include the cost of foundations courses, retaking courses or taking courses in addition to those required for the degree. It does not include the cost of books, supplies, tools, computers or other items that may be required.
