Brian McDermott

Brian McDermott has been the Director of College Effectiveness and Research since 2002, and prior to joining the College administration he was a Faculty member in the Quality Control program.

His professional qualifications include Six Sigma certification (General Electric), Lean implementation, ISO and QS auditor certification, and he is a qualified reviewer in the Higher Learning Commissions Review Corps since 2002. His prior work experience includes Quality Control –Ingersoll Rand, Quality Engineer/New Product Development Lead – General Electric, Commissioned Officer – US ARMY.  His undergraduate degree is from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Dr. Jui-Sheng Wang

Jui-Sheng Wang graduated with a Ph.D in Higher Education & Student Affairs program from the University of Iowa in 2013. Prior to joining the Institutional Research Office, he served as a research assistant at Educational Policy and Leadership Department Computer Lab.

His publications and presentations focus on the different impacts of educational institutions, teacher quality, student engagement, and student learning strategies on student success. His technical skills include SPSS, STATA, M-Plus, AMOS, and Hunter and Schmidt meta-analysis program.

Vijaya Musunuru (vj)

Vijaya Musunuru joined the office of Institutional Research as an Institutional Research Coordinator in August 2012. Prior to his arrival at CCC, Vijay served as a Data analyst intern at Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department for a year. 

Vijay holds a Master of Science Degree in Industrial Management & Systems Engineering from University of Nebraska and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, INDIA.
