Transfer Informationby Subject
I have coursework from more than one community college – will it transfer to CCC? The Nebraska Transfer Initiative began in 1995 as a group of general education transfer courses which were articulated among the six Nebraska community colleges. When possible, these Courses share the same alpha, number, and course content. Recently the Nebraska Transfer Initiative has been expanded to include some non-general education courses which can be used as transfer electives. Nineteen Nebraska transfer institutions participate in this articulation process.

Coursework counts at both a four-year institution and CCC? Yes! Reverse transfer is the process of awarding an associate degree to students who begin their education at CCC and then transfer to a four-year institution prior to completing the associate degree. While at the four-year institution, students work toward their bachelor degree requirements and may transfer their coursework back to CCC to complete their associate degree requirements at no additional cost. To be eligible a student must have completed 25% of the degree requirements at CCC and have a 2.0 GPA.
