Program to Focus on Solar Eclipse’s Effect on Wildlife

A program, “The Effect of the Solar Eclipse on Wildlife,” will be offered from 7 to 9 p.m. on Feb. 21 in Room 210 at Central Community College-Grand Island.

Holly Green, an outdoor education specialist, will share stories of how wildlife fared during the 2017 solar eclipse. The presentation will feature sounds, videos and photos captured of animals in domestic households, wild encounters, and trips to the zoo.
