Elizabeth Turner

  • Elizabeth Turner is an architect at Perkins+Will in Minneapolis, where she focuses on integrating sustainability and resiliency issues into design for higher education and campus planning. She enjoys facilitating discussion and decision making with a diverse team of consultants and exploring integration between landscape, infrastructure, and building in order to optimize performance of buildings and campuses. She is particularly passionate about creative design that simultaneously supports the educational, economic, and environmental goals of her clients.

    Elizabeth was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska. She received a Bachelor’s degree from St. Olaf College and a Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Sustainable Design from the University of Minnesota. She is a volunteer for the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE), serving on the Local Host Committee for the national conference held this October in Minneapolis, and as a Technical Advisor for the AASHE Sustainability Tracking and Rating System (STARS).
