Academic Transfer

Available at the Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings campuses, Holdrege, Kearney and Lexington centers and online.
    • The Academic Transfer program is a great place to start if you are planning to earn a bachelor's degree. Our classes are small so you know your instructors and get the personal attention that is so important in laying the solid foundation needed to reach your goals. In addition, tuition and fees for two years at CCC cost less than half of the cost of two years at a public university, providing an opportunity to manage your overall college costs and student debts.

Academic Transfer graduates earn either an associate of arts or associate of science degree before transferring to a four- year college or university.

When you enroll in the Academic Transfer program, your adviser will develop an academic plan of study to meet the requirements of your major field of study at the college or university where you plan to complete your bachelor’s degree.

    • Transfer success

Our graduates have transferred to public and private four-year colleges across Nebraska and to more than 50 out-of-state colleges.

Follow-up studies show that graduates of Central Community College academic transfer programs are well prepared to continue their education.

Information provided to CCC shows that our graduates who transfer to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, as a group, achieve overall grade-point averages that are comparable to other juniors and seniors who attended UNL for their first two years of college.
